Olde Tyme Stuffe, Inc. epitomizes the term “family owned and operated.” Their auction business consists of a father and daughter business partnership that was formed in 1999. Their dream was realized with their first auction held in October of 2000. There have been two or more auctions per month, twelve months a year ever since. Their goal has always been to provide an auction that will be enjoyed and respected by both consignors and buyers equally. They feel that they have achieved that goal by consistent scheduling, a variety of goods to attract all types of buyers and consignors, and most importantly, by utilizing solid marketing techniques for the auctions and their services.
Auctioneer and appraiser, Ron D’Auteuil is a graduate of Yankee School of Auctioneering – License #2614. Ron is a native of Worcester, MA and has always had a successful business and sales career. He has held many management positions with Fortune 500 companies such as International Harvester, ADT, STP and Purex. He began his career in the antiques industry by going to and selling at flea markets and co-ops. He moved on to a retail store and then a wholesale outlet. That small start has evolved into the largest and most successful non-catalog auction in Central Mass.
C.E.O., Denise (D’Auteuil) Fanion graduated from St. Anselm College with her Bachelor’s Degree and is pursuing her Master’s Degree in business. She has held several sales and management positions with Bankers’ Life and Casualty, Airtouch Paging and Verizon Wireless. She brings a technical knowledge to the business and instituted the use of a computerized system in the auctions. She and Ron create an organized and professional team that enjoy creating a quality auction.
In addition to their father and daughter team, you find many other family members working at Olde Tyme Stuffe. On any given auction night you will find Ron, the auctioneer, and Denise, the floor manager, surrounded by Marie (wife & mother) and a niece as the two scribes, another niece registering and cashing out bidders, Ron (the Son) working in the check-out area, Brother George as the head runner and many other nieces, nephews and close family friends as additional runners. They are proud of the fun and family oriented atmosphere that has been created at Olde Tyme Stuffe and look forward to you joining their extended family of buyers and/or consignors.
All auctions on the first and third Thursday of the month begin at 6:00pm with box lots before each auction at 5:30pm. Specialty auctions are held occasionally at dates to be determined. Some of our upcoming auctions are:
